(from my Christmas Card)
You will think that you are eating an Almond Joy when you bite into these.
2 C agave nectar
2 C coconut oil
If your coconut oil is solid, place its container in a sink of hot tap water to melt it first.
Then put both ingredients in a high-power blender and add:
1 C raw powdered chocolate (or unsweetened cocoa)
Blend well, then pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in:
2 C shredded coconut
2 C chopped almonds
Pour the mixture into a 9x13” pan, chill 2 hours, and cut into squares to serve.
I made these last night... AWHHH!YUMM!! I had to post a picture so you could see just how yummy they look! My sister ate one and said that she's going to include these in her Christmas cookies for her friends and neighbors next year.. they're that good! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteI just tried these with a little variation. Instead of chopping up the almonds and mixing them in, I placed whole almonds on top so each tiny square of fudge will have an almond on top. We'll see if I have any problems with them setting up differently.
ReplyDeleteI just made these and now i wait for them to chill (impatiently).... trying a lot of raw and wholefood recipes out at the moment, I'm ready for the change
